General Pest Management Licence Course - Correspondence
The general pest management licence correspondence course consists of units 5, 6 & 18 from the certificate III in pest management and is designed to allow students the freedom to fit study into their life without compromising their other commitments.
This urban pest control management course is designed to provide new or experienced pest control technicians with the basic knowledge and skills to be a licensed pest management technician.
Receiving the course study materials.
Self assessment modules and activities are sent out to the student to complete. As a correspondence student you are asked to perform various course tasks and to participate in an on-site assessment.
To achieve licensing you require:
CPPPMT3005 (Unit 5) Manage pests without applying pesticides
CPPPMT3006 (Unit 6) Manage pests by applying pesticides
CPPPMT3018 (Unit 18) Maintain equipment and pesticide storage area in pest management vehicles
You have up to 12 months to complete this qualification.
Completion of the course
To complete the course you will need to:
- Complete an assessment booklet which covers the general principals of pest management and safety.
- Complete a daily log-book showing each job that you attended.
- Complete an interview
- Participate in an on-site assessment*
* On-site assessments are usually undertaken at our head office in East Gosford NSW. This usually takes about 1-2 hours.
